As part of the 17th Days of the Bosnia and Herzegovina-American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), the Sixth International Ophthalmology Symposium was successfully held, bringing together distinguished experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, Europe, and the United States at the Mövenpick Hotel in Sarajevo.
The Sixth International Ophthalmology Symposium will bring together leading national and international experts to present the latest advancements, scientific achievements, and innovations in the field of ophthalmology. The program is designed for a broad professional audience, including medical students, residents, young ophthalmologists, and experienced specialists.
As part of the 17th BHAAAS Days, which will be held from June 4 to June 7, 2026, in Sarajevo, the Sixth International Ophthalmology Symposium will be organized. This professional meeting will bring together distinguished ophthalmologists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and Europe, who will present the latest advancements and modern approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. We are honored to announce the holding of the jubilee Sixth International Ophthalmology Symposium entitled “Sixth International Ophthalmology Symposium: Innovation in Ophthalmology – A New Era with Ophthalmic Radiology School“. The ophthalmology symposium is planned to take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 6–7, 2026, at the Bristol Hotel, Mövenpick, Sarajevo.
The symposium included four expert panels with presentations and discussions on the most advanced therapeutic approaches in the field of the anterior segment of the eye, with an emphasis on the eye surface, dry eye, eye surface tumors, corneal diseases, corneal transplantation, refractive surgery (laser diopter correction and refractive lens replacement surgery) and an educational session for young ophthalmologists and residents (YO).
